A Friend Like Me

Finally! I found someone else like me in the class.

Someone as lost as I was, yet just as capable. Someone who appreciated my scented nail polish and someone who was just as excited for Trader Joe’s opening that week as I was!

My Week 3 partner, Amy was a great reminder of why I got into the program. That it’s okay to be girly and be different from other students. Amy and I were equally excited to have found a like-minded partner.

Even though we were glad to have a great pairing, the week ahead wasn’t easy.
